Top-Gap (similar for $10), Scarf-JCPenney (similar), Maxi dress worn as skirt-Old Navy (similar), Clutch-Vintage (similar)
I bought this dress (worn as a skirt) at the very end of the summer and I never got a chance to wear it. So, I decided to style it for winter instead. It's comfy and cozy, almost like wearing pajamas. Plus, I can wear whatever I want underneath. Like a tutu, and you wouldn't know it! (I don't, just leggings. It's the principle of the matter).

I love it!! And, I'd totally wear a tutu underneath that just for fun, but I guess leggings are more practical haha. You look lovely! What a great look :)

My friend Elena and I always joke that you can wear whatever you want under a great maxi dress. Our favorite is..."You could be nude under there and no one would know." I know, it makes very little sense, but it makes us laugh.

I love this. It looks super cozy, and I do love the idea of hiding layers under the dress for warmth:)I always worry that layering over a maxi and wearing it with real shoes instead of sandals will look more little house on the prairie than cool.
ReplyDeletemaxis are so perfect during winter! especially when they're nice and thick :)

That's a great comfy but stylish outfit! Love it. So what shoes do you wear with that? I am so used to wearing maxis with flip flops or sandals, and I had a hard time deciding what shoes to wear with it in the winter.
ReplyDeleteI had on ankle boots but I think it would've looked better with regular boots.
DeleteVery cute! Good idea putting a top over a dress. I like the pop of red too!
