One day I left this scarf out on chair in the kitchen and Oliver decided to get a hold of it when I wasn't looking. In his defense, he was still a puppy and I should've known better to leave it out.
Little secret, there's now a massive hole in the back and I'm wearing it anyway. It's too warm and cozy to throw out, plus I don't know how to knit myself a new one.
Scarf: $14

Very cute. That scarf is adorbable and I wouldn't want to get rid of it either if I was able to just hide the hole.
ReplyDeleteScarfs are so delicate. I got a new red infinity scarf for Christmas (a color I didn't have and LOVE) and already caught it on something which made a hole. I just hide it too. No reason to throw away!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to link up Sharon.....your grey outfit will always be a fave of mine esp that lovely scarf!!!!

I almost guarantee you that it's not just a puppy thing - some dogs are into scarfs, some are into shoes, but the obsession never goes away.;) You look great!
ReplyDeleteI would continue to wear it too, it's just too cute and cozy not to!

Sharon! Oh I want to link up but I will do it for tomorrows post. You won't want to miss it. Seriously. I have a scarf like that that my dog RUINED! Tore it to shreds. She is 18 months old and we had her fixed which makes her stay even more of a puppy while maturing. Grand, huh?
ReplyDeletei would still wear it to....imperfections that can be hidden are no longer imperfections!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you wear it with pride. You should see all the stuff my kids have ruined of mine!!! :) I love the chunkiness....super warm and fuzzy! :)
ReplyDeleteCute and cozy scarf, Sharon, good that you did not discard it!
ReplyDeleteWish you and your family a very happy new year!

That looks like such a cozy scarf and the hole gives it more character and a funny background story ;) so rock it out! Thanks for reminding me about the link up!
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is very cute and so are you. I think the hole gives it more character. Chewed up scarf, bummer but we love our dogs like our own kids that we have to choose our own battles sometimes, does that sound funny to you? i guess.

Well the scarf still looks great to me and at least it still has all its functionality! :) And it's so cool that you can wear kids shoes! I have big feet even though I'm not very tall.

Ooooh, those puppies do love to chew on anything and everything they can get their little teeth on on! (It's a good thing that they so gosh darn cute.) I completely love how you've worn your gray tee in such a cute, laid back way and your jacket does a great job of dressing it up just a bit.
