High Five for Friday

1. Baubles I recently won in giveaways: a Sweet Clover bracelet and Fresh Tangerine earrings. 


2. I am obsessed with this Bumble & Bumble Straight Blow Dry balm. It is a little pricey but I couldn't believe how straight it makes my wavy hair. Plus it eliminates frizz and makes it super soft. They aren't paying me to say this, I just really love this product.


3. American Idol is finally back on. I can't wait to see what kinds of crazy fights Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj get into on the judges panel. There's no room for two divas on one show...Nicki's face just says it all. I feel bad for Keith Urban who has to sit in between the two of them. 


4. Homemade calzone for dinner last night. Delish!


5. The hubs is sick so I am popping vitamins and hand sanitizing like it's my job. I don't want those germs any where near me. I have no idea how they got vitamins into gummy snack form, but it's awesome. I'll keep you posted if they actually work.

    1. It is SO easy. I just used store bought dough and filled it with mozzarella and ricotta cheese. :)

  5. YES! I love Gummy vitamins- I feel like I'm eating kids snacks. It makes taking vitamins a fun part of my day. Here's hoping it keeps you from getting sick!

    I know I feel guilty spouting about Savers when some of my readers don't have a Savers at all.

    We don't have a Goodwill. In Utah, that is 80% Mormons, we have a "Deseret [dez er et][it mean busy as a honey bee] Industries" so Goodwill doesn't attempt to compete. But Savers is the best, the Deseret Industries [or the DI as it is affectionately termed here] is second because Savers has more sales and discounts that DI does.

    I say where ever you can Thrift and succeed is where you should go. Awh, there is my wisdom for the day and week! Have a great weekend staying away from your Man for your sake. :D

  38. I'm a diehard American Idol fan! I'm so glad it's back! What did you think of the mariah vs. nicki madness? I think nicki is funny and bring a different element to the show, but she should have some respect for Mariah (the queen of pop). I feel bad for keith urban too! He seems like such a nice guy! Anyways, hope you're enjoying the show! Stay healthy and hope your hubby feels better!

  40. I hope you stay healthy! I cant' believe the amount of people that have caught the flu this year. @_@ So far it hasn't gotten to me, but i'm the same as you -- hand sanitizing like a madwoman and i've started taking vitamin D pills as well.

    I gave up on American Idol a long time ago but Nicki Minaj sure is fun to look at! :)
